The search giant Google recorded another acquisition in his name with Boston Dynamics this time. Boston Dynamics is an engineering and robotics-design company. The action adds up to the robotics experience of the search giant.
However, financial parameters of the ongoing deal are not yet disclosed and Boston Dynamics will be completing its existing contracts with DARPA, the U.S.military arm Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
Google has already its robotics division in market the famous being the self driving cars and the acquisition will take this division to new heights. Though Google mainly remain silent on his plans for its robotics division but this deal surely give some clues.
With the addition of hardware technology of Boston Dynamics into Google’s intelligent software systems, it seems that Google is experimenting beyond its existing robotic car control systems into custom robots that are able to handle any number of physical tasks.
Long Live Google!!
