1. Download apps from trusted sources

You are suggested to download apps from Google Apps Store. Never be greedy and look for other places that offer lucrative apps. You may end-up putting the security of your phone on risk. Avoid downloading apps from non-trusted sources.

2. Set a password for apps

Never leave your phone unprotected and use a strong password wherever you can. Most of the applications on an Android device can be protected by password. Having a password will keep it safe from unwanted threats.

3. Update the OS as Soon as it’s available

Updated OS is always safer than its earlier version. Update the OS of your phone as soon as a new version is available.

4. Don’t view sensitive information on public Wi-Fi

Using public Wi-Fi can be a fun but it’s equally harmful. Avoid accessing sensitive information on public Wi-Fi, or use a password on your phone.
